With Hopes of Falling is:

Ricky Hazlett - Guitar/Vocals
Travis Moschgat - Guitar/backup vocals
Brian Moschgat - Bass/backup vocals
Trevor Roberts - Drums

Formed out of an acoustic band that Ricky, Trevor and another friend, Nick, created sometime in 2006. We choose the name, "With Hopes of Falling" because it signified all of our pasts with falling down,  we all hope,  yet all hopes tend to fall.  Essentially hoping for something so bad, but it never comes true.

We started playing together in early 2004, writing songs in 2006 and starting to bring things together at the beginning of 2007. We have written a dozen acoustic songs.

In the summer of 2007, we decided to start actually formulating what we were doing, by taking our Acoustic songs to the Electric land. Ricky asked his former band mate, the drummer from No Dice, if wanted to be apart of this new project and he accepted. Shortly after, Mikey moved away and never was an official member in the band. A lot of life changes have occurred for us all, and we are saddened that Mikey will not be able to play with us at this time, which brings us back to being an acoustic band, really just writing, playing on our own doing nothing major.

After falling off the stage for a few years, Nick and Ricky reformed again in the beginning of 2011, finally recording some demo's and Ricky wrote the concept of an upcoming album. During Summer of 2011, they reformed, again just as 2 guitar playing fools! Shortly after the reformation, Trevor was added on drums and guitars, yet Nick sort of fell out of touch with everyone. Trevor and Ricky continued, doing Acoustic songs with hand drums, but shortly after, Trevor moved away to Colorado.

The album sat, more songs were added, concept was fine tuned and written, but no one had played anything for years.

March 2022: Trevor had recently moved home and wanted to start playing again. Upon first contact, we decided it was time to release the album, "The Majestic Front," and we asked our friends Brian and Travis to play bass and guitars on it in June of the same year. So Brian was added to bass and Travis to guitar; and Nick would make a special guest appearance on occasion, but eventually decided it was too far past his time to be involved and decided to leave.  The synergy Brian and Travis brought to the band allowed them to pick up the pieces and become a fully-fledged 4 piece post-hardcore band.

So from the ashes we rose, With Hopes of Falling in summer of 2022 and work began to record, mix, master; and learn how to do all of that ourselves, while giving us a timeline of 2 years to try and release the album.  It is close and we aim to release our album Winter of 2025.

13 years later could not keep us down.

January 2025: After 2 years of hard work, practice, and learning a bit of audio engineering, The Majestic Front will release on January 10th, 2025.
